Deutsche Bank: Maarten van Berckel chief country officer for the Netherlands

Frankfurt am Main, Germany - November 29, 2010, Frankfurt am Main, Germany - Deutsche Bank announced the appointment of Maarten van Berckel as chief country officer for the Netherlands, effective December 1.

Mr. Van Berckel has 25 years of experience in the financial industry and was previously Deutsche Bank’s Chairman for Corporate Finance in the Benelux region. Mr. Van Berckel, who will continue be based in Amsterdam, joined the Bank in 2008. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director of Lehman Brothers International (Europe) and Chief Executive Officer of Lehman Brothers Benelux.
