Mr. Jorgensen brings more than 20 years of experience as a healthcare entrepreneur and corporate transformation executive to Diversinet. Mr. Jorgensen has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Syncor Diagnostics Sacramento Llc and Signal Medical Services, Inc. since July 2005. He serves as Principal Executive Officer and Manager of Parkway Imaging Center, LLC.
He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Comprehensive Medical Imaging Centers Inc., Comprehensive Medical Imaging--Fairfax, Inc., Maxum Health Services Corp., Maxum Health Corp/Ca, Nddc Inc., Tme Arizona, Inc., Maxum Health Services Of Dallas Inc. and Maxum Health Services of North Texas, Inc. He serves as Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Partnerships Inc. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of MDVIP Inc. since February 2, 2009.
Mr. Jorgensen served as Consultant of Insight Health Services Holdings Corp. since November 15, 2007. Mr. Jorgensen served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Insight Health Services Holdings Corp. (Holdings) and Insight Health Corp. from July 1, 2005 to November 15, 2007 and also for all its subsidiaries. Mr. Jorgensen served as the Chief Executive Officer of AdvoLife, a provider of senior care services, from June 2004 until its sale in October 2004.
Prior to AdvoLife, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Directfit, a web-centric recruiting solutions provider from April 1999 to October 2003. In 1989, Mr. Jorgensen co-founded TheraTx, which became a diversified healthcare services company listed on NASDAQ. While at TheraTx, he served on the Board of Directors and held several executive leadership positions, including President of TheraTx Health Services, and was instrumental in TheraTx's initial public offering in 1994 and sale in April 1997.
Mr. Jorgensen serves as Chairman and Director of AllianceCare, a provider of senior healthcare services, rehabilitation therapy and home health services. He has been a Director of Syncor Diagnostics Sacramento Llc and Signal Medical Services, Inc. since July 2005.
