Douglas J. Ketterer to head Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management - U.S.

New York, USA - July 21, 2010, New York, USA - Morgan Stanley Smith Barney announced the appointment of managing director Douglas J. Ketterer as head of Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in the U.S.

Mr. Ketterer served most recently as Chief Operating Officer of Wealth Management, U.S., in Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1990 in the corporate finance area, and subsequently worked on the origination side of Investment Banking, as well as in product development and strategic planning for Morgan Stanley Investment Management. He also led the Products Group for Global Wealth Management prior to formation of the Morgan Stanley Smith Barney joint venture.
