New York, USA - July 18, 2012, New York, USA - Duff & Phelps Corporation, a financial advisory and investment banking firm, has announced that Mark Calzolano and Peter Rosenberg joined its investment banking practice as managing directors focused on mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Calzolano has more than 15 years of experience advising on both domestic and cross-border transactions. He has provided sale and divestiture services to corporate and private equity clients, completed acquisitions of public and private companies, represented special committees of public company boards, rendered fairness opinions, and engaged in strategic alternatives reviews on behalf of public and private clientele.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Mr. Calzolano was a member of Global Integrated Business Solutions LLC, where he served as senior vice president of corporate development. Previously, he worked for William Blair & Company. His prior investment banking experience also includes Robert W. Baird & Co. and Merrill Lynch & Co.
Mr. Calzolano holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
Mr. Rosenberg has 28 years of experience in the financial services industry, where he has focused on leveraged finance, capital markets, strategic advisory, private equity and asset management. Throughout his career, he has executed capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring transactions.
Before joining Duff & Phelps, Mr. Rosenberg was a managing director with Wells Fargo Securities, the investment banking and capital markets platform for Wells Fargo Corporation. Previously, Mr. Rosenberg established and managed the San Francisco office as a managing director for Barrington Associates, a Los Angeles-based boutique mergers and acquisitions advisory firm.
Before that, he was a Director at Salomon Smith Barney, focusing on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions for West Coast consumer product, specialty retail, financial services and industrial companies. Mr. Rosenberg has also held positions at Richard C. Blum & Associates (now BLUM Capital) and Comann, Howard & Flamen. ■
