Mr. Chorney was previously Managing Director, Investment Banking with Stifel Financial Corp. and its predecessor from April, 2009 until October, 2013. He led Stifel's Canadian market energy business, and covered both oil & gas and energy service clients.

Mr. Chorney was previously Managing Director, Investment Banking with Stifel Financial Corp. and its predecessor from April, 2009 until October, 2013. He led Stifel's Canadian market energy business, and covered both oil & gas and energy service clients.
Prior thereto Mr. Chorney was employed as a Director - Investment Banking with Blackmont Capital and its predecessor from January, 2004 to April, 2009. He began his investment banking career at RBC Capital Markets in March, 2001.
In addition to corporate finance-related activities, he has also led the completion of multiple buy and sell-side M&A engagements.
Mr. Chorney is a Professional Engineer and has been a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta since 1993. Mr. Chorney holds a B. Sc. - Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska (1993). Mr. Chorney holds an MBA from the University of Alberta (2000).
Entrec also announces the recent appointment of Craig Nicholson as Vice President HSE.
Mr. Nicholson has been involved in the HSE Profession for the past 8 years, assisting large oilfield service operations across Canada to develop and implement HSE systems.
Mr. Nicholson began his career at Weatherford International, where he worked his way up and in 2010 landed his first HSE Leadership role. While working for Weatherford, Mr. Nicholson and his team provided HSE coverage to operations in Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia. In May of 2011, Mr. Nicholson received his CRSP designation from the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals. ■
