Mr. Devine has also been appointed to be a member, and to serve as chair, of Five Below's Audit Committee. Mr. Devine served as the Chief Financial Officer of Coach Inc. from December 2001 to August 2011 and served as its Executive Vice President since August 2007 and Chief Accounting Officer.
Mr. Devine served as a Senior Vice President since December 2001. He is a Senior Executive and has 23 years of Financial and Operational Experience at America's leading manufacturing and retail companies. Mr. Devine served as the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Vice President of finance at Mothers Work, Inc. from February 2000 to November 2001.
From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Devine served as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary of Strategic Distribution Inc., having been promoted after two years as Chief Financial Officer of SDI's primary subsidiary, Industrial Systems Associates. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Industrial System Associates Inc. from 1995 to 1997.
Mr. Devine previously held Director of Operations and Director of Finance & Distribution positions at McMaster-Carr Supply Company from 1989 to 1995 and progressively senior finance positions at Honeywell Inc. from 1980 to 1989.
He has been a Director of Express Inc. since May 2010. He has been a Director of Deckers Outdoor Corp. since March 7, 2011. He served as a Director of Educate Inc. from December 14, 2004 to June 14, 2007. Mr. Devine served as an Independent Director of NutriSystem, Inc. from July 2007 to March 4, 2013.
Mr. Devine was awarded Chief Financial Officer of the Year for New York City in 2007. He was recognized as being one of the 100 Most Influential People in Finance - Visionary Chief Financial Officer by the Treasury & Risk Management Magazine in 2005. In addition, Institutional Investor Magazine acknowledged him as being America's Best Chief Financial Officer in the Apparel, Footwear and Textiles Industry in 2004 and 2005.
Mr. Devine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from Boston College and an MBA degree in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. ■
