Ms. Hudson is an executive in IBM Corporate Strategy with leadership experience in business and technical strategy, emerging business opportunities, marketing, partnerships and sales. Ms. Hudson has held a variety of leadership positions at IBM, including Vice President and Director of Corporate Strategy responsible for Strategic Growth for IBM; Vice President of Strategy & Marketing and acting Chief Technology Officer for the IBM Global Industrial Sector; and Vice President of Marketing & Strategy for IBM System z mainframes.

Ms. Hudson is an executive in IBM Corporate Strategy with leadership experience in business and technical strategy, emerging business opportunities, marketing, partnerships and sales. Ms. Hudson has held a variety of leadership positions at IBM, including Vice President and Director of Corporate Strategy responsible for Strategic Growth for IBM; Vice President of Strategy & Marketing and acting Chief Technology Officer for the IBM Global Industrial Sector; and Vice President of Marketing & Strategy for IBM System z mainframes.
Prior to IBM, Ms. Hudson worked for Hewlett-Packard. She also worked as an Aerospace Engineer at Grumman Corporation and the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory on solar power satellites, the space shuttle program and future missions around Jupiter.
Ms. Hudson graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. She is a member of the Princeton University Technology Advisory Council.
The Company also announced that Carl E. Sassano has resigned his board position.
Mr. Sassano served as Independent Director director since November 2006. He has served as chairman of the board of Transcat, Inc. since October 2003 and as a director of that company since October 2000. From March 2002 until April 2007, Mr. Sassano was chief executive officer of Transcat, Inc. and from March 2002 until May 2006, he was also president of Transcat, Inc.
Mr. Sassano was president and chief operating officer of Bausch & Lomb Incorporated in 1999 and 2000 and held several other marketing and sales, strategic planning and general management positions with that company commencing in 1973. Mr. Sassano is a trustee of Rochester Institute of Technology and a member of the Trustee Council of the Rochester-based broadcaster WXXI. He is also a director of several privately-held companies. ■
