Houston, Tx., USA - March 23, 2010, Houston, Tx., USA - FMC Technologies, Inc., a provider of technology solutions for the energy industry, announced two key executive appointments, effective April 1.

FMC's Board of Directors has appointed John T. Gremp President and Chief Operating Officer of FMC Technologies.
Since joining the company in 1975, Mr. Gremp has served in a variety of operations management roles, most recently as Executive Vice President of Energy Systems. Prior to assuming his current role in 2007, Mr. Gremp served as Vice President of Energy Production Systems since 2004 after serving as General Manager of Energy Production Systems.
Mr. Gremp’s leadership expertise stems from management positions held throughout his more than 30 years with the company including General Manager of Fluid Control Division in 1995 and as General Manager of the Asia Pacific and Middle East region during the early 1990s. He also has held various plant, operations and regional manager positions since joining the company in Chicago as a Financial Analyst in 1975.
Mr. Gremp earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Lewis and Clark College and an MBA from the University of California in Berkeley. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association and the Offshore Energy Center. He is also a member of the Secretary of Defense Advisory Board for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.
Mr. Gremp will succeed Peter D. Kinnear as President. In addition, Robert L. Potter will succeed Mr. Gremp as Executive Vice President of Energy Systems.
Previously, Mr. Potter was Senior Vice President of FMC's Energy Processing and Global Surface Wellhead businesses. Mr. Potter has been with the company since 1973. He is the Senior Vice President of Energy Processing and Global Wellhead at FMC Technologies, Inc., serving in this capacity since 2007. Previously, he was the Vice President of Energy Processing beginning in 2001.
Prior to serving as Vice President, Mr. Potter was the Division President of the Energy Processing Systems beginning in 1995 and Division Manager of its Fluid Control Division in 1992. He served as the Western Region Manager of the Wellhead Equipment Division in 1990 and Operations Manager in Houston in 1988. Mr. Potter joined FMC in 1973 as a Sales Representative for the Wellhead Equipment Division and held several sales management positions over the years. ■
