Fonterra director Chris Caldwell resigns

Auckland, New Zealand - November 26, 2013, Auckland, New Zealand - Fonterra Co-operative Group Limited, a multinational dairy company, announced that Chris Caldwell, managing director of people culture and services, has resigned.

Mr. Caldwell joined Fonterra in 2008 as Commercial Director for the former Global Ingredients and Foodservices Business. Before this, he spent ten years with Diageo in different commercial roles across the globe, and earlier in his career he held a number of sales and marketing roles.

Before taking on his current role, Mr. Caldwell was General Manager Finance for Fonterra. He has also held a number of Board appointments.

Michael Spaans, a Waikato dairy farmer and director of Dairy NZ, has been elected to the board of Fonterra.
