Dearborn, Mich., USA - November 10, 2014, Dearborn, Mich., USA - Ford Motor Company announced that Jim Farley is appointed executive vice president and president of Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Farley currently serves as executive vice president of Global Marketing, Sales & Service, a position to which he was appointed in 2007. He also was instrumental in leading the ongoing transformation of Lincoln, setting it on a path for growth as a world-class luxury brand and customer experience.
Before joining Ford, Mr. Farley was group vice president and general manager of Toyota Motor Corporation’s Lexus luxury division. He spent more than 10 years in Marketing, Sales and Service leadership positions at Toyota, serving in the United States and Europe.
Stephen Odell is appointed executive vice president, Global Marketing, Sales and Service.
Mr. Odell is executive vice president and president of Europe, Middle East and Africa. Previously, he was group vice president, chairman and CEO, Ford of Europe. Prior to this, he was a Ford vice president and president and CEO of Volvo Car Corporation, a role he held from October 2008.
Before, Mr. Odell was chief operating officer, Ford of Europe, responsible for Product Development, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Marketing, Sales and Service operations. He was Ford Motor Company vice president and vice president of Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford of Europe.
Prior to this position, Mr. Odell was director and senior managing executive officer in charge of Marketing, Sales and Customer Services at Mazda Motor Corporation in Japan, where he was also a member of the board.
Mr. Odell joined Ford Motor Company in 1980 as a graduate trainee for Ford of Britain. He worked in several management positions in sales and marketing in Britain and the U.S., before being appointed vice president, Marketing and Sales, Jaguar North America, in 1997. ■
