Gemoscan Canada appoints new director, vice president

Toronto, ON, Canada - September 23, 2013, Toronto, ON, Canada - Gemoscan Canada, a food intolerance management company, has appointed Elisa Swern to the board of directors and Daniel Bringleson as senior vice-president of clinic operations.

Ms. Swern currently holds the position of vice-president, pricing and promotions, for Loblaw Companies Ltd. Her previous roles at LCL include executive-level roles in strategy and supply chain. Prior to joining LCL, she led the supply chain retail practice area for IBM Canada and was a management consultant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. Bringleson is a doctor of chiropractic. Prior to joining the company, he spent 12 years as a partner and clinic operator, building Physiomed Kennedy Inc., now a Gemoscan company. He is currently also a franchise co-owner at four other paramedical locations within the Greater Toronto Area.
