Calgary, AB, Canada - September 17, 2012, Calgary, AB, Canada - GeoGlobal Resources Inc., an oil and gas company, announced that Ohad Marani and Eli Cohen both resigned from the company's board of directors, effective September 12, 2012.

Mr. Marani was elected a Director of GeoGlobal on January 11, 2012. Mr. Marani is currently the CEO of The Israel Land Development Company – Energy Ltd., a publicly traded company with shares listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Mr. Marani previously served as Director General of the Israel Finance Ministry from 2001 to 2003, Chairman of Israel Natural Gas Lines Ltd., Chairman of Alumot Investment House Ltd., Budget Director of the Finance Ministry from 2000 to 2001, Chairman of the Board of Oil Refineries Ltd. from March 2004 to June 2007, Minister for Economic Affairs, Israel Embassy, Washington, D.C. from 1995 to 2000 and Non-Executive Co-Chairman and Director of Adira Energy Ltd.
Prior to March 2004, Mr. Marani served in various Israeli governmental positions. Mr. Marani has a Masters Degree in Public Administration (major in Economics and Finance) from Harvard University, an MBA (majoring in Finance) from Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a BA in Economics (majoring in Accounting and Statistics) from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Mr. Cohen was elected a Director of GeoGlobal on June 8, 2012. Mr. Cohen has served as Executive Vice President of the Israel Land Development Company ("ILDC") since July 2009. From July 2007 to July 2009, he was ILDC's Vice President of Investment and Business Development. Prior to joining ILDC, he was the head of the Corporate Division with Standard and Poor's Israel (Maalot).
Mr. Cohen currently holds and has held directorships within both private and publicly traded companies such as: Ma'arriv-Modi'in Publishing House Ltd., Israel Land Development Malls and Shopping Centers Ltd., Optima Promotions and Investment Management 66 Ltd., The Israel Land Development Company - Utilities, Ltd., The Israel Land Development Company - National Treasures Ltd., Emanuelle Energy Ltd., Arielle Gas and Oil Explorations Ltd., ILDC, Ma'arriv Holdings Ltd., Israel Land Development Hotels Ltd., and Rapid Vision Ltd. ■
