Middletown, N.Y., USA — Greater Hudson Bank, N.A. announced the appointment of F. Thomas Cornelius to the position of senior vice president, chief financial officer.[break]
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Cornelius held the position of vice president, controller at the Bank. He joined Greater Hudson Bank in 2009 bringing to the Bank almost 10 years of accounting and finance experience, primarily in the banking industry.
Prior to joining Greater Hudson Bank, Mr. Cornelius held the position of assistant vice president, controller for Gotham Bank of New York in New York City, where he was responsible for maintaining and monitoring the bank’s general ledger, budgeting, and regulatory reporting as well as overseeing their investment portfolio.
Mr. Cornelius has also worked as an assistant vice president and senior accountant for Union State Bank, formerly of Orangeburg, NY. Mr. Cornelius joined Union State Bank in 2000 as a management associate and quickly advanced within the finance department up until the bank’s merger with Key Bank in early 2008.
