Munich, Germany - September 17, 2012, Munich, Germany - Siemens AG announced that it has named Hans-Jörg Grundmann as chief compliance officer, and promoted two other senior managers, effective October 1, 2012.

In 1997, Mr. Grundmann moved from AEG to Siemens, where he most recently headed the Rail Systems Division. At Siemens, he served for more than four years at the helm of the Rail Systems and Mobility Divisions. While at AEG, he also served as Project Manager at Postautomation, Optical Character Recognition; and Head of Development at ElectroCom, Product Development for Reading Coding Systems. Mr. Grundmann studied physics at the Humboldt University in Berlin and he earned his doctorate at the Academy of Sciences in Berlin.
Mr. Grundmann will succeed Josef Winter, who has been appointed CEO of Siemens' Regional Company in Indonesia.
Mr. Winter was appointed Chief Compliance Officer of Siemens AG in July 2010. He had previously headed Siemens' Regional Companies in Germany and South Korea. He worked as Project Engineer at Siemens Power Engineering and Automation Group; Power, Transportation and Public-Sector Customers Division; and Rail Systems and Rolling Stock.
Mr. Winter was also General Manager of Siemens, Chinam Transportation Systems Group and Head of Production Machine Sales and Marketing Department at Siemens AG, Automation and Drives Group (A&D), Motion Control Systems Division.
Mr. Winter was Member of the Managing Board of the German-Korean Chamber of Industry and Commerce. He studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Aachen, Germany where he earned his Dipl.-Ing. engineering degree.
The company also announced that Jochen Eickholt has been appointed CEO of the Rail Systems Division in the Infrastructure & Cities Sector.
Mr. Eickholt has been responsible to date for the Rail Automation Business Unit in the neighboring Mobility and Logistics Division of the Infrastructure & Cities Sector. He worked as Project Leader on Industry Consulting Projects at the Fraunhofer-Institute for Production Technology in Aachen. He was Head of Corporate Planning. Technical Director and Plant Manager at Kostal UK, and Vice President Strategic Procurement at Leopold Kostal GmbH.
Mr. Eickholt also worked at Desag AG, Grünenplan, Germany as General Manager of Business Unit Display Glass, and after that he joined Joined Siemens AG in Czech Republik as CEO of Siemens Elektropristroje. He was Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management and partly Sales at Siemens ICM CP, and Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Management Devices at Siemens COM. ■
