London, United Kingdom - June 11, 2014, London, United Kingdom - Hansteen Holdings plc, the investor in UK and continental European real estate, announces the appointments of Rebecca Worthington and Melvyn Egglenton as non-executive directors.

Ms. Worthington is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years commercial experience having qualified with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (Coopers & Lybrand) in 1994. Ms. Worthington is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lodestone Capital Partners LLP, that manages and invests in UK real estate assets and debt, concentrating on distressed operational backed property, with a particular focus on healthcare, hotels and development.
She is also a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Aga Rangemaster plc, on the Board of the British Property Federation, and on the Advisory Board of the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Her previous roles include Finance Director and then Deputy Chief Executive of Quintain Estates and Development Plc (March 1998 – October 2012 and Head of the Greenwich Peninsula regeneration project April 2011 – October 2012).
Mr. Egglenton is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the ICAEW with more than 30 years experience in practice and commerce, having qualified with KPMG in 1976 where he went on to become Senior Partner at KPMG Birmingham and Regional Chairman of KPMG Midlands.
Mr. Egglenton is currently Chairman of Pendragon PLC, the UK’s largest motor distributor, having been appointed as a Director in December 2010 and is a current member of its Remuneration Committee and the former Chairman of the Audit Committee. He is also a Trustee of the James Family Trusts, a director of Soho Estates Holdings Limited, a Non-Executive Director, Audit Committee Chairman and Remuneration Committee Chairman of Irwin Mitchell Holdings Limited.
The Board has also appointed Ms. Worthington and Mr. Egglenton as members of both the Audit and the Remuneration Committees.
The Company also announces the retirement of Stephen Gee from his role as Non-Executive Director, effective 9 June 2014.
Mr. Gee serves as Non-Executive Chairman and Director of Gaucho Grill. Mr. Gee has been the Non-Executive Chairman of Gaucho Group Ltd. since August 2006 and serves as its Director. He serves as the Chairman of Busaba Eathai Holding Ltd. He worked for several years in corporate finance and private equity. ■
