Harmonic announces sales leadership transition

San Jose, Ca., USA - January 7, 2013, San Jose, Ca., USA - Harmonic Inc., a provider of video delivery infrastructure, announced that senior vice president of worldwide sales, Mark Carrington will step down from his position with the company.

Mr. Carrington rejoined Harmonic in 2009 and served as Vice President of Services and Support before taking the role of Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales in 2011.

Previously he had been with DiviCom, Inc., acquired by Harmonic in 2000, after which he assumed responsibility for the consolidated field operations division.

Between his tenures at Harmonic, he worked with the leadership of a number of start-ups and small companies on growth strategies and execution, business planning and process improvement.

Mr. Carrington began his career at IBM where he held several strategic management positions.
