Hiroshi Minoura president, managing director of Greenhill Japan

New York, N.Y., USA - March 27, 2015, New York, N.Y., USA - Greenhill & Co., Inc., an independent investment bank, announced that Hiroshi Minoura will join the firm in Tokyo as president and managing director of Greenhill Japan, effective May 1, 2015.

Mr. Minoura will join the Firm upon his resignation as Vice Chairman of the Board of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC).

Mr. Minoura has had a long and distinguished career at SMBC, where he spent 37 years primarily in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking and International Business roles.

His career began in 1978 when he joined one of SMBC’s predecessor firms The Mitsui Bank, Limited.
