HP announces leadership changes

Palo Alto, Ca., USA - July 2, 2015, Palo Alto, Ca., USA - HP announced that Bill Veghte, executive vice president of HP’s Enterprise Group (EG), will be departing the company later this summer to pursue a new opportunity.




Since October, Mr. Veghte has been leading the separation efforts for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, working closely with Chris Hsu and the Separation Management Office while continuing to manage the Enterprise Group led by Antonio Neri.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Veghte served as HP’s Chief Operating Officer. When he arrived at HP in 2010, he served as HP’s Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of HP Software.

Prior to his role as COO, Mr. Veghte served as HP’s Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of HP Software. Prior to HP, he spent two decades at Microsoft in a variety of senior leadership positions.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian studies from Harvard University.

Antonio Neri, who has been serving as leader of EG while Mr. Veghte has focused on the separation efforts, will officially take over the role as Executive Vice President and General Manager.

Mr. Neri has been at HP over 20 years working across many lines of business and in many roles. Most recently, he has worked to transform and accelerate HP’s Server business. Prior to that, he led the company’s Networking and Technology Services business.
