Sterling, Va., USA - May 28, 2012, Sterling, Va., USA - IceWEB, an IT company, announced that it has named Harold F. Compton as chairman of the board and interim chief executive officer.

Mr. Compton has been a retailer for more than 30 years. He has been a member of IceWEB's board of directors since May 2005.
Mr. Compton joined CompUSA Inc. in 1994 as Executive Vice President-Operations, becoming Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 1995, President of CompUSA Stores in 1996 and Chief Executive Officer of CompUSA Inc. in 2000, a position he held until his retirement in 2004.
Prior to joining CompUSA, from 1993 until 1994, Mr. Compton served as President and COO of Central Electric, EVP Operations and Human Resources, and Director of Stores for HomeBase (1989 to 1993), SVP Operations and Director of Stores for Roses Discount Department Stores (1986 to 1989), and held various management positions including Store Manager, District Manager, Regional Vice President and Zone Vice President for Zayre Corporation from 1965 to 1986.
Since 1998 Mr. Compton was a member of the Board of Directors of Linens 'N Things. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Maidenform Brands and is a member of its Compensation Committee and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee of the Board of Directors of that company. Mr. Compton also serves as Chairman of the Board of HASCO Medical, Inc.
The company has also named Mark B. Lucky as interim Chief Operating Officer of IceWEB Storage Corporation, effective immediately.
Mr. Lucky has more than 20 years professional experience in high growth, start-up ventures. He serves as the company's Chief Financial Officer since March 2007. Prior to joining IceWEB, Mr. Lucky consulted at Bearing Point on their financial restatement project.
From 2004 to 2005 Mr. Lucky was Vice President of Finance and Administration at Galt Associates and from 2001 to 2004 he was Vice President of Finance and Administration of MindShare Design. While at both Galt Associates, Inc. and MindShare Design, Inc. Mr. Lucky was the senior financial officer for the company.
During his career Mr. Lucky has also been employed by Axys Pharmaceuticals (acting CFO and Senior Director of Finance), PriceWaterhouseCoopers, COMPASS Management and Leasing, (Vice President – Finance 1997 to 1998), Mindscape (Director of Financial Planning and Analysis 1995 to 1996), The Walt Disney Company (Manager, Operations Planning & Analysis, Manager of Corporate Planning 1991 to 1995), and KPMG. ■
