Ingram Micro CIO Mario Leone departs

Santa Ana, Ca., USA - Ingram Micro Inc. announced that executive vice president and chief information officer Mario Leone will be leaving the company.

Mr. Leone joined the company in 2009.

Mr. Leone has nearly 30 years of experience providing marketing and technology solutions for large global corporations.

Before joining Ingram Micro, he served as senior vice president and chief information officer at Federal-Mogul Corporation, a global supplier of powertrain and safety technologies serving the automotive, industrial and worldwide after-markets.

Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, he served as senior vice president and chief information officer at FIAT, and its business unit IVECO, an European industrial vehicle company.

He has also held senior management positions in business management and information systems for Dow Chemical Company and Union Carbide Corporation.

Mr. Leone earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from Boston University and a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Babson College in Massachusetts.

Mr. Leone will remain at Ingram Micro through March 1, 2013, to assist in the orderly transition of his responsibilities.

The company will conduct a search for a successor.
