Mr. Karam served as a Senior Auditor of Touche Ross & Company Cpa, Columbus, OH from 1982 to 1986. He served as the President of Wendy's of Las Vagas Inc., COLUMBUS, OH since 1986. He served as Senior Auditor for Touche & Ross from 1982 to 1986.
He has been the Chairman of Sbarro Inc., since February 1, 2012 and Sbarro's of Texas, Inc. since February 9, 2012. He has been a Director of Sbarro Inc., since February 1, 2012. He serves as a Director of Cedar Enterprises, Inc. and Sbarro's of Texas, Inc. He served as a member of Wendy’s Franchise Advisory Council from 1990 to 1995 and has served as a trustee of the Wendy’s National Advertising Program for many years.
While a franchise owner, he was recognized with the R. David Thomas Founders Award in 1990 and the Diamond Award National Marketer of the Year in 1998. He is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting. He is a Graduate of The Ohio State University. Mr. Karam is a Graduate of Owner President Management program at the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. ■
