Whitley, United Kingdom - October 3, 2013, Whitley, United Kingdom - Jaguar Land Rover has appointed John Edwards into the role of managing director of the newly created Individual Products division.

The new division will be responsible for designing and creating a portfolio of brand extending products, ranging from high value halo vehicles to lifestyle merchandise products. In his new role, Mr. Edwards will be responsible for the company's 'Engineered To Order' division, accessories, licensing & merchandise activities, vehicle operations and heritage vehicles across both brands.
Mr. Edwards was appointed to the position of Global Brand Director, Land Rover, on 1st December 2010. He has global strategic responsibility for the Land Rover Brand and is one of only two senior executives at Jaguar Land Rover with specific responsibilities for Land Rover (the other being Gerry McGovern Land Rover Design Director and Chief Creative Officer).
Mr. Edwards's role encapsulates brand positioning; current and future product planning; revenue generation; marketing communications; brand extension strategies and supporting future growth. In his previous role he was Regional Director, Land Rover UK and European Operations. In this role John had commercial responsibility for Land Rover Sales and Marketing activities in Europe.
Prior to this he was Managing Director, Land Rover UK before which he was Regional Director for Overseas Operations, managing all Jaguar and Land Rover business outside ofUK, Europe andNorth America.
Before joining Land Rover he was Director of Mini/MG UK, a division with the BMW Group established to manage Sales, Marketing and Distribution of Mini and MG vehicles in theUKmarket place. Previous roles included positions in Brand Management, Product Planning and Customer Research. ■
The General Police Administration announced that the National Bureau of Investigation together with criminal police officers from all police departments in Slovenia are today conducting 58 investigations of residential, commercial and other premises in the area of the police departments of Ljubljana, Kranj, Koper and Nova Gorica, due to the suspicion of 21 criminal acts.
