Jean-Marc Huët to leave Unilever in October

Mr. Huët will remain in his role through this period to ensure a smooth and orderly transition to his successor. Mr. Huët was appointed an Executive Director to the Boards of Unilever PLC and Unilever N.V. in February 2010.
Prior to joining Unilever, Mr. Huët held the executive vice president and chief financial officer roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, as well as a place on the executive committee. He is also a non-executive director of Delta Topco limited and a member of the supervisory board of Heineken N.V. He was a non-executive director at Mead Johnson Nutrition in 2009.
He was at Bristol-Myers from early 2008, prior to which he worked at Royal Numico N.V. as chief financial officer and member of the executive board, from 2003. There, he helped spearhead Numico’s financial restructuring, growth and acquisition strategy.
Before joining Numico, Mr. Huët had a successful career at Goldman Sachs International. He joined the bank in 1993 as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division and became executive director of Investment Banking Services in 1999.
Mr. Huët holds an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France and a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, New Hampshire, USA.
Unilever also announced that Graeme Pitkethly will succeed Mr. Huët as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 October 2015.
Mr. Pitkethly will become a member of the Unilever Leadership Executive on 1 October 2015 and he will be proposed for election to the Boards of Unilever N.V. and PLC at the Annual General Meetings in April 2016.
Mr. Pitkethly joined Unilever in 2002 and is currently Executive Vice President of the Unilever UK and Ireland business and prior to this he has held a number of senior financial roles within Unilever, including Head of M&A, Head of Treasury, Pensions and Tax and Chief Financial Officer of Unilever Indonesia. ■
