Jefferies appoints two managing directors

New York, N.Y., USA - July 13, 2015, New York, N.Y., USA - Jefferies, an investment banking firm, has hired Rex H. Green and Jonathan A. Carey as managing directors and global co-heads of automotive aftermarket investment banking.




Mr. Green has more than 25 years of industry experience and was most recently Managing Director responsible for a number of investment banking groups at BB&T Capital Markets.

Prior to joining BB&T, Mr. Green was a Managing Director at Advest, Inc., and prior to that, was Partner-In-Charge of corporate finance for the New England region of KPMG Peat Marwick LLP.

Mr. Green received his MBA from The Stern School at New York University and his BA from Brown University.

Mr. Carey has more than 14 years of industry experience and was most recently Managing Director and Head of the Automotive Aftermarket investment banking practice at BB&T Capital Markets.

Prior to joining BB&T, Mr. Carey was in the investment banking group at Advest, Inc. and prior to that he began his career with Ernst & Young LLP.
