JetBlue appoints Alexander Chatkewitz VP, controller

New York, N.Y., USA - December 9, 2014, New York, N.Y., USA - JetBlue Airways announces the appointment of Alexander Chatkewitz as the carrier's new vice president, controller.

Mr. Chatkewitz comes to JetBlue from Philip Morris International, Inc., where he served as Vice President & Controller - Financial Reporting & Accounting Research since 2008.

Prior to Phillip Morris, he served for a decade in a variety of roles at Altria Group, Inc. culminating in the position of Vice President Assistant Controller - Financial Reporting & Consolidations.

Before joining Altria Group, Inc., Mr. Chatkewitz spent four years with Marsh & McLennan Companies and worked eight years in the audit practice of Deloitte & Touche in New York and Atlanta.

He was a Senior Manager serving multinational SEC registrants in various industries and also spent time supporting clients in the mergers and acquisitions groups.
