Katie Lahey to join Korn/Ferry as managing director, Australia & New Zealand

Sydney, Australia - October 28, 2010, Sydney, Australia - Korn/Ferry International, a global provider of talent management solutions, has announced that Katie Lahey is joining the firm as managing director, Australia and New Zealand, effective early next year.




Ms. Lahey has a distinguished career in Australian business and public policy, most recently serving as Chief Executive of the Business Council of Australia (BCA) for almost a decade.

Prior to her role at the BCA, she was CEO of the New South Wales State Chamber of Commerce, Chief Executive of Sydney City Council and Chairman and CEO of the Victorian Tourism Commission.

Ms. Lahey is a well-recognized company director, serving at organizations such as David Jones Limited. She was awarded a Centenary Medal for her contribution to business leadership.

She has a First Class honours Arts degree from the University of Melbourne, as well as an MBA class from Melbourne Business School.
