Keith Bush new managing director at Northern Petroleum

London, United Kingdom - July 11, 2013, London, United Kingdom - Northern Petroleum, an oil company, announces the appointment of Keith Bush as managing director.

Mr. Bush joined Northern in May 2012 as Chief Operating Officer and was appointed to the Board last November. He started his career with Western Atlas Logging Services, then progressed to managerial positions in Amerada Hess, Burlington Resources and prior to joining Northern was General Manager Operations for E.ON Ruhrgas in Norway. He has extensive experience in the North Sea, North Africa, Norway and North America.

Mr. Bush holds a degree in Physics and has more than 20 years of oil exploration and production industry experience.

After 18 years of service, Richard Latham, non-executive Chairman has retired from the Board.

Mr. Latham served as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Northern Petroleum Plc., since June 1999. He has been a member of the Board since 1995. He is Non-Executive Chairman of Strategic Natural Resources Plc, Chairman of Ascension Holdings Limited and a number of its associated companies and Chairman of Obsidian Minerals Limited.

Mr. Latham holds an MBA degree from Cranfield and has spent working life in the City; initially as an Investment Manager and for 26 years with companies in the upstream oil and gas industry.

Also, Derek Musgrove, who has been Managing Director since 1999, has retired from the Board.
