KPMG: Jim Routh Chief Information Security Officer

Mr. Routh earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hobart College. Mr. Routh's career in information technology and information security has included roles as a practitioner, management consultant, and leader of technology and information security functions. As chief information security officer at the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation he successfully designed and implemented an information security program involving one of the most mature software security programs in the world. Before that, he led the information technology function for the institutional services and investment management businesses at American Express Financial Advisors. Earlier in his career, Mr. Routh was a management consultant in information technology for several leading financial service services firms.

In 2007, Mr. Routh was named the Information Security Executive of the year for the Northeast by Executive Alliance, Inc. He is active on a number of different financial information security boards, including the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) and the Wall Street Technology Association. He is also the current chairman of the Archer Technology Community.
