Lazard: Robert Hingley new managing director

- April 15, 2010, - Lazard, a financial company, announced that Robert Hingley is joining the firm's financial advisory business as a managing director, effective April 26.



Mr. Hingley joins Lazard in London having spent the past two years as Director General of the UK Takeover Panel. Mr. Hingley will also lead the UK Financial Institutions Group alongside Will Samuel, Vice Chairman of Lazard in London.

Prior to becoming Director General of the Takeover Panel in 2007, Mr. Hingley spent three years with Lexicon Partners as a Vice Chairman.

Mr. Hingley began his investment banking career at Schroders in 1985 and, during his eighteen year career at Schroders and successor firm Citigroup, he held a number of senior positions including as Co-Head of the Global Financial Institutions Group and Head of German Investment Banking.
