L&M Energy announces re-organisation and sole managing director

Wellington, New Zealand - November 16, 2010, Wellington, New Zealand - L&M Energy Limited, a coal seam gas exploration and production company, announced that Kent Anson has been appointed sole managing director.



L&M Energy Limited, announces that a corporate re-organisation to reflect the increasing focus on Coal Seam Gas has resulted in the functions of the dual Managing Director structure being rationalised to a single Managing Director. As a consequence, John Bay has agreed to stand down and Kent Anson has been appointed sole Managing Director.

Mr. Anson is a mechanical engineer who joined L&M Coal Seam Gas in December 2008. Prior to this position he held the position of Country Manager - India for the Brisbane-headquartered Arrow Energy where he gained exposure to all aspects of CSG exploration and development.

Mr. Anson has been involved with the coal seam gas industry since its infancy, as an employee of Tri-Star Petroleum, one of the first Australasian coal seam gas explorers, who have been concentrating on development in the Bowen Basin in Queensland since 1989. Mr. Anson has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Queensland University of Technology.
