Lou Shipley named CEO of Black Duck Software

Burlington, Mass., USA — Black Duck Software, a software company, announced Lou Shipley has joined the company as president, chief executive officer and member of the board of directors. [break]


Mr. Shipley, whose background in software leadership is extensive, most recently served as President and CEO of VMTurbo, Inc.

Prior to VMTurbo, he was VP and GM of the Citrix DataCenter and Cloud Division. He also served as CEO and President of Reflectent Software, Inc., as Entrepreneur - December 5, 2013, Burlington, Mass., USA — Black Duck Software, a software company, announced Lou Shipley has joined the company as president, chief executive officer and member of the board of directors.




Mr. Shipley, whose background in software leadership is extensive, most recently served as President and CEO of VMTurbo, Inc.

Prior to VMTurbo, he was VP and GM of the Citrix DataCenter and Cloud Division. He also served as CEO and President of Reflectent Software, Inc., as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Highland Capital Partners, and held executive roles at Avid and WebLine. He is a Guest Lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management.
