Houston, Tx., USA - October 1, 2013, Houston, Tx., USA - Lucas Energy, Inc., an independent oil and gas company, announced that William J. Dale, chief financial officer, is leaving the company.

Mr. Dale joined Lucas Energy as Chief Financial Officer in April 2013 after having assisted Mr. Schnur at the company on a contract basis since December 2012. Most recently, he served as a financial consultant for several private equity and independent E&P companies. Prior to that, Mr. Dale served as Director of Finance, Planning & Analysis for Global Industries Ltd., a publicly-traded oil & gas service company.
He has financial experience across corporate finance, treasury, strategic planning, and financial reporting, planning and analysis functions at large global corporations as well as small, entrepreneurial oil and gas companies.
Prior positions include CFO and Controller at KD Resources, a private E&P company and CFO, Treasurer and Secretary at Blue Dolphin Energy, a Nasdaq Midstream and E&P company. He also served in various financial and analytical roles at Rosetta Resources, Huber Energy, El Paso Corporation, Columbia Energy and Tejas Gas (acquired by Shell Oil).
Mr. Dale earned dual Bachelor degrees in accounting and finance, and holds an MBA from the University of Houston. He is also a Texas Certified Public Accountant.
Anthony C. Schnur, Lucas's Chief Executive Officer and former Chief Financial Officer, will immediately assume Mr. Dale's duties.
Mr. Schnur is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Lucas Energy, a position which he has held since 2012. Mr. Schnur joined the company as CFO November 1, 2012 before replacing the outgoing CEO in December 2012.
Prior to joining Lucas in 2012, Mr. Schnur served as the CFO of Chroma Oil & Gas for nearly three years, a private equity-backed E&P with operations in Texas and Louisiana. For eight years prior to Chroma Oil & Gas, he was an independent executive where he held various non-traditional employee/consultant/CFO/Interim CEO and advisor roles.
Previous positions include Director of Structured Transactions for Aquila Energy Capital Corporation, Natural Gas Marketer for Aquila Energy Marketing and tenures with Cargill, Inc., National City Bank and PNC Corp. ■
