Ms. Minehan was President and CEO of the Boston Fed from 1994 to 2007. In this role, she had overall management responsibility for one of the 12 regional banks in the Federal Reserve System, and played a key role in economic development in New England, including community development, public education and training. She first joined the Boston Fed in 1991, when she was named First Vice President and Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for payment and support operations, budget, and personnel and management policies.
Prior to joining the Boston Fed, Ms. Minehan was Senior Vice President of the Funds, Securities and Accounts Group at the New York Fed, a post she held from 1987 to 1991. In this role, she was responsible for policy and operations of large value funds and the securities transfer network, fiscal activities for the U.S. Treasury Department and agencies, and reserve bank accounting. Prior to that, she held a range of examiner, analyst, officer and management positions at the New York Fed, where she worked since 1968.
