Auckland, New Zealand – MasterCard has announced the appointment of expat Peter Chisnall as its new country manager in the New Zealand market.[break]
Mr. Chisnall brings more than 20 years experience to the table from working in the oil and gas, and then financial services industries. He joined MasterCard in January 2012, heading up the Melbourne office where he played a key role in helping to roll out MasterCard’s latest digital wallet technology MasterPass.
Mr. Chisnall most recently served as Area Head at MasterCard Worldwide. Prior to that he was Program Director at GE Capital in Melbourne Area, Australia, General Manager Corporate Cards at Diners Club Australia, and Head of Service Management at Diners Club Australia. He also worked as Acquisition and Merchant Marketing Manager, Strategic Alliances Manager, and Direct Sales Manager at Diners Club Australia.
