McEwen Mining appoints Nathan Stubina as managing director

Toronto, ON, Canada - July 17, 2014, Toronto, ON, Canada - McEwen Mining, a gold and silver producer, announced that it has appointed Nathan Stubina as managing director of the company.

Mr. Stubina was previously the corporation's vice-president, technology, and will be taking over the responsibilities of Ian Ball, former president.

Mr. Stubina is a professional engineer with decades of global experience in the mining and metallurgical sectors. He has held senior technical roles with Barrick Gold, Falconbridge Ltd. and Noranda Inc.
