McKesson appointed Patrick Blake president of technology solutions segment

San Francisco, Ca., USA - June 17, 2009, San Francisco, Ca., USA - McKesson Corporation, a healthcare services and information technology company, announced that Patrick Blake has been promoted to executive vice president and group president, McKesson Technology Solutions.

Mr. Blake earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and a Master of Business Administration from the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University. Mr. Blake held leadership roles at Baxter International, Inc., and American Hospital Supply Inc. Mr. Blake joined McKesson in 1996 as senior vice president for McKesson Health Systems. In 1999, he was named president of McKesson Health Systems, and in 2001 he was elevated to president of customer operations for McKesson U.S. Pharmaceutical.
