Mr. Peterson has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Microsemi Corp., since December 2000 and Microsemi RFIS Inc. (formerly AML Communications Inc.) since May 27, 2011.
Mr. Peterson serves as Chief Executive Officer and President of Microsemi Corp.-Colorado and Microsemi Corp.-Scottsdale. He served as the Vice President and General Manager of the Linfinity Division of Microsemi from April 1999 to February 2001.
Mr. Peterson served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Linfinity Microelectronics Inc., from February 1997 to April 1999. He served as the Vice President of Sales at Linfinity microelectronics from August 1996 to February 1997.
He has been a Director of Microsemi Corp. since November 2001 and previously served the same position since December 2000. He served as a Director of STEC Inc. (Formerly Known as Simpletech Inc.) from January 2003 to March 5, 2009.
Mr. Peterson graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration and an M.B.A. from Brigham Young University.
Dennis Leibel, who has served Microsemi as its chairman of the board since July 2004, will assume the role of lead independent director.

He has been Founding Partner of Esquire Associates LLC since 1998. He served as a Senior Financial and Legal Executive at AST Research, Inc. and Smith International Inc. He served as a Financial and Legal Executive.
Mr. Leibel is an Attorney and a CPA and has more than 25 years experience in senior legal, financial and operational positions at AST Research and Smith International, both of which were Fortune 500 Companies. He served as Treasurer at AST Research, Inc. since December 1985 and its Vice President of Administration and General Counsel since March 1988.
Since January 1989, Mr. Leibel served as Vice President of Legal and Treasury Operations and Secretary and also served as Senior Vice President of Legal and Treasury Operations since January 1995 and Senior Vice President of Legal, Administration and Secretary of AST Research, Inc. since October 1995.
Mr. Leibel served for more than seven years at Smith International Inc., where he served as Director of Taxes, Vice President of Tax and Financial Planning and as Vice President of Finance.
Mr. Leibel has been the Chairman of Microsemi Corp. since July 1, 2004. He served as Chairman of the Board of Commerce Energy Group Inc. from December 14, 2007 to February 2008. He has been a Director of Microsemi Corporation. since May 2002.
Mr. Leibel has been Director of DPAC Technologies Corp. since February 2006. Mr. Leibel served as a Director of Commerce Energy Group Inc. since December 12, 2005. He served as an Independent Director of Commerce Energy, Inc. (also known as Commonwealth Energy Corp.) since December 2005.
Mr. Leibel is a Certified Public Accountant and a Member of New York State Bar and holds a B.S degree in Accounting from Brooklyn College, a Juris Doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School and an LLM degree in Taxation from Boston University School of Law.
Microsemi also announced Paul Pickle has been promoted to president and chief operating officer.
Since joining Microsemi in 1998, Mr. Pickle has held positions of increasing responsibility, including corporate vice president of Field Applications Engineering, sales and marketing, and product development.
Mr. Pickle has been Executive Vice President of Integrated Circuits Group at Microsemi Corp. since 2012 and served as its Senior Vice President of Integrated Circuit Group.
Mr. Pickle served as Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Microsemi Corp. He served as Vice President of Commercial Sales of Microsemi Corp. ■
