Sir Mohammed Founded Bestway (Holdings) Limited in 1956 and serves as the Chairman of the Board of Bestway (Holdings) Limited & its subsidiaries which include Batleys Limited and Bestway Cement Limited.
He served as Deputy Chairman of United Bank Ltd (UBL) from 2002 and also serves as its Director.
He serves as the Deputy Chairman of Pakistan's 3rd largest bank.
He is a Council Member of the Federation of Wholesale Distributors.
Sir Mohammed serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Bestway Foundation UK, Patron-in-Chief of Bestway Foundation Pakistan, Trustee of Memorial Gates Trust and Charter Member of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
He serves as a Trustee of the BritishEdu Trust, Crime Stoppers and the Specialist Schools & Acadamies Trust.
Sir Mohammed began his career in food business in 1963 when he opened a convenience store in Earls Court, London. He ventured into the cash & carry business in 1976.
The company also announced that Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, and Omar Ziad Jaafar Al Askari have resigned as Director/Chairman and Director of United Bank Limited.
Sheikh Nahayan is the United Arab Emirates Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
He is also Chancellor of two of the UAE's three government-sponsored institutions of higher learning: United Arab Emirates University, established in 1976, and the Higher Colleges of Technology, established in 1988.
He is the president of the third, Zayed University, established in 1998.
Sheikh Nahayan is also Chairman of CERT (Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training), the commercial arm of the Higher Colleges of Technology, which was established in 1996.
Sheikh Nahayan is Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Group, Union National Bank, and United Bank Limited.
He is also Founder Chairman of Bank Alfalah Limited and Chairman of WARID Telecom International (a regional telecoms group based out of Abu Dhabi with operations in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Georgia, Uganda, Congo Brazzaville, and Ivory Coast).
Sheikh Nahayan is a recipient of Pakistan's highest civilian award, the Hilal-e-Pakistan, which was conferred upon him by the President of Pakistan in 2005.
Mr. Al Askari is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of United Technical Services.
In 1972 he attained an MBA degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, having graduated in 1971 from the University of Oregon with a BBA degree in business administration.

He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1972 where he specialized in audit and management consulting.
In 1976, Mr. Al Askari assumed control of Technical Services and Supply Company, a family concern based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
In 1980, he established United Technical Services (UTS). Currently he is a member of the Board of Directors of United Bank Limited and is Chairman of AlFalah Exchange Co.
Mr. Al Askari served as International President of the Young Presidents' Organization in 1999-2000. ■
