St. Helier, Jersey - October 14, 2104, St. Helier, Jersey - New World Oil and Gas Plc announced that it has decided to split the role of chairman and CEO.

Christopher Einchcomb, a non-executive Director of the Company, will assume the role of acting non-executive Chairman and Peter Sztyk, Executive Director, will become CEO.
Mr. Einchcomb joined BP straight from University and has spent nearly 30 years in the Oil and Gas Industry in oil companies and the service sector in technical, commercial, mergers and acquisitions and management roles. Has experience of working in UK, US, Norway, Vietnam, Venezuela and Russia.
Mr. Einchcomb started his career in Aberdeen and spent time working onshore and offshore UK and Norway before working on Alaska for BP. There after followed roles in the North Sea, Venezuela and Vietnam. Between 1997 and 2006 he played a leading role in BP’s access and Joint Venture with Rosneft in Sakhalin.
Between 2006-2008 Mr. Einchcomb was Vice President for Exploration in TNK-BP and between 2008-2011 was Executive Vice President of Integra’s seismic business. In 2011 he rejoined TNK-BP as Vice President for International Projects and Exploration with responsibility for TNK-BP’s assets in Vietnam, Venezuela and Brazil and its global exploration program.
Mr. Einchcomb was then promoted to Senior Vice President for Exploration responsible for all TNK-BP’s exploration operations and organic access projects.
Mr. Einchcomb was educated in the UK and graduated from Newcastle University with an BSc Honors in Geophysics and Planetary Science in 1982.
Mr. Sztyk began his career in law at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP and then White & Case LLP, where he worked on significant emerging capital markets and acquisition finance transactions, especially in the energy sector.
Mr. Sztyk set up Golden Temple Capital Management LLP (Golden Temple) in 2007, an investment management company focusing on international investors and Asian projects. He is an Executive Director of New World Oil and Gas plc.
William Kelleher, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, has resigned.
Mr. Kelleher has more than 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry, most recently as a Non Executive Director of Bramlin Limited and previously as a co-founder and Managing Director of AIM listed Victoria Oil and Gas Plc.
Prior to these roles, Mr. Kelleher worked for Yukos Oil Corporation as its Executive Vice President for Central Asia, where he was responsible for managing and developing its exploration and production companies in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. ■
