Rehovot, Israel – Nova Measuring Instruments Ltd., a provider of measurement systems for the semiconductor manufacturing industry, announced that Gabi Seligsohn, Nova's president and CEO, has decided to step down from his position. [break]
Mr. Seligsohn was appointed as Nova’s President and Chief Executive Officer in 2006. Having joined the company in 1998, Mr. Seligsohn has served in several key positions in the company including Executive Vice President, Global Business Management Group and President of Nova's US Subsidiary, Nova Inc.
Previous to that, Mr. Seligsohn was Vice President Strategic Business Development at Nova Inc., where he established Nova's OEM group managing the Applied Materials and Lam Research accounts, and global strategic account manager for the Company's five leading customers. Mr. Seligsohn joined Nova after serving as a Sales Manager for key financial accounts at Digital Equipment Corporation.
Mr. Seligsohn holds an LLB from the University of Reading in England. The Company promotes Eitan Oppenhaim, Nova's Executive Vice President, to President and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 31, 2013.
Prior to joining Nova in 2010, Mr. Oppenhaim served in executive positions with several technology companies including Alvarion, Orbotech and Comverse. In his last position before joining Nova, he was the Vice President and Europe General Manager for Alvarion. ■
