Patties Foods chairman to retire

Bairnsdale, Australia - April 23, 2013, Bairnsdale, Australia - Patties Foods Ltd, a manufacturer and marketer of branded frozen savoury, dessert and fruit products, announced the resignation of Christopher J Riordan as chairman and director of PFL.

Mr. Riordan served as Chairman since July 2009. He has more than 19 years experience as a non-executive director of numerous public and private companies, including 12 years as a director (7 years as chairman) of SPC Ltd., 4 years (3 years as deputy chairman) as a director of Golden Circle Ltd. and 6 years as a director of Wingara Wine Group Pty Ltd. He is a practising lawyer with more than 40 years experience specialising in commercial and corporate law.

His ther current directorships include: Chairman of Radio Rentals Ltd since 1997 and Chairman of Escor Pty Ltd Advisory Council since 2007. He is former director of Future Capital Development Fund Ltd.

The PFL Board announced the appointment of Mark Smith as Non-executive Director and Chairman of the Board, effective 22 April 2013.

Mr. Smith has extensive global experience in the Manufacturing and FMCG sectors across Australasia, USA, UK and Asia Pacific. He is a Non-Executive Director of Toll Holdings Ltd and GUD Holdings Ltd and past Chairman of Manassen Foods Group.
