Calgary, AB, Canada - September 5, 2013, Calgary, AB, Canada - Pembina Pipeline Corporation, a transportation and midstream service provider, announced that Robert Michaleski, chief executive officer plans to retire at the end of 2013 after 35 years of service with the company.

Mr. Michaleski has been the Chief Executive Officer of Pembina Pipeline Corporation since January 2000, and prior to February 15, 2012 was also President of Pembina since 2000.
Mr. Michaleski was initially appointed Controller of Pembina in January of 1980 and Vice-President, Finance in September of 1992. In connection with the Corporation's initial public offering in October 1997, he was named Vice-President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Pembina.
Mr. Michaleski has served as co-chair of the General Oil and Gas Division since 2010. He is a Director on Pembina's Board and an Officer of Pembina Pipeline Corporation.
Mr. Michaleski holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree from the University of Manitoba and received his Chartered Accountant Designation in 1978. He is also currently a director of one private company. He will continue to serve as a member of Pembina's Board of Directors.
The Board also announced that Mick Dilger, Pembina's President and Chief Operating Officer, will succeed Mr. Michaleski as CEO effective January 1, 2014, at which time, he will also be appointed to the Company's Board of Directors.
Mr. Dilger joined Pembina as Vice President, Business Development in 2005 - a role he held until 2008. In November 2008, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer and in 2012 he added the role of President to his portfolio. He has more than 26 years of experience in the energy industry and has provided leadership in the areas of operational performance and improvement, strategic development, acquisitions and divestitures and finance.
Stu Taylor, VP Gas Services, and Paul Murphy, VP Conventional Pipeline Services, have also been promoted to the newly created positions of Senior VP, NGL & Natural Gas Facilities and Senior VP, Pipeline & Crude Oil Facilities, respectively. ■
