Mr. O’Malley had previously served as the company’s Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Mr. O'Malley joined Penn Mutual's Investment Department in 1994.
In 2006, he was appointed Chief Risk Officer, which gave him responsibility for leading the company's Enterprise Risk Management Department. Later, as Senior Vice President, he led the development and delivery of competitive products and solutions to meet the needs of the company’s policyholders.
Mr. O'Malley became a member of Penn Mutual’s Executive team as Executive Vice President in 2008, and was named Chief Financial Officer in 2010. Along with his responsibilities at Penn Mutual, he also serves on the Board of Governors of the Academy of Risk Management and Insurance (ARMI) at St. Joseph's University's Ervin K. Haub School of Business in Philadelphia.
