Austin, Tx., USA - August 6, 2009, Austin, Tx., USA - Perficient, Inc., a global information technology consulting firm, announced that president and chief operating officer Jeffrey Davis will succeed CEO Jack McDonald in September.

Mr. McDonald joined Perficient in 1999, led its initial public offering and built and led a team that has transformed the company from a startup to a company with $230 million in 2008 revenues and approximately 1,300 business and technology professionals in 19 major North American markets and global locations in Eastern Europe, India and China. Mr. McDonald, a winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, in 1998 completed a successful transaction in Europe, acquiring a significant interest in ALTO Imaging Group, a $100 million computer peripherals integrator, which was later sold to Minolta. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. McDonald was president of software firm VideoSite, Inc., where he executed a successful turnaround and sold to GTECH Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange Company. Earlier, Mr. McDonald served in various positions, including Director of Corporate Development at Blockbuster Entertainment Group. McDonald began his career in the 1980s as a mergers-and-acquisitions and corporate finance attorney with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York.
Mr. McDonald serves as vice chairman of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, whose mission is to help create regional economic prosperity and success for Central Texas. He also serves as chairman of the Central Texas Regional Center of Innovation and Commercialization, which administers the Texas Emerging Technology Fund for a 15 county region and serves as a catalyst for emerging technology research, development, commercialization, and start-up incubation in Central Texas as part of Texas’s efforts to remain globally competitive. In addition, Mr. McDonald is chairman of the AusTech Alliance, which works to create jobs and opportunity for Central Texans by growing the technology industry. Mr. McDonald is also a member of the board of the Austin Technology Council and served on the World Congress on Information Technology Texas Leadership Council. Mr. McDonald is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), the premier global network for presidents under the age of 50. ■
