Perth, Australia - April 15, 2010, Perth, Australia - Peritus International, a provider marine systems, announces the appointment of Thyl Kint as Global Director Floating Systems and Asia Pacific Field Developments.



With more than 25 years oil and gas experience, most of which has been spent managing offshore oil and gas developments around the world, Mr. Kint brings with him a proven track record of successfully developing problematic or marginal offshore oil and gas assets, both small and large, within very tight schedules and budgets, and with innovative commercial and technical solutions.

His experience to date includes several FPSO projects, some of the deepest water fixed platform developments in the Gulf of Mexico and Stybarrow, the deepest water development ever delivered in Australian waters.

Mr. Kint has previously worked in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia for some of the oil and gas industry’s biggest players including Shell, BP, BHP, Kerr McGee, BW Offshore and Spitfire Oil. He also spent several years managing his own successful oil and gas engineering consultancy and a deepwater R&D group.
