Peter England new CEO of RAKBANK

Ras al - September 2, 2013, Ras al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates - National Bank of Ras al-Khaimah (RAKBANK) announced that it has named Peter England as its new chief executive.

Mr. England has been Head of Retail Financial Services since he joined CIMB Group in January 2006. He was responsible for the overall management and financial performance of CIMB Bank's business for individual and small enterprise customers.

Mr. England was also responsible for the development of CIMB's retail businesses in Singapore and Cambodia, Private Banking throughout the region, as well as managing CIMB's interests in various subsidiaries including Touch and Go.

Mr. England has more than 30 years working experience in all aspects of retail banking and wealth management and has been based in Asia for most of the last 15 years. Prior to joining CIMB Group he has been the Head of Retail Banking for two large Malaysian banking institutions and Head of Retail banking in Singapore, and Head of Credit cards in Malaysia for a well-known Global banking group.
