Petroflow Energy: CEO John Melton to retire

Calgary, Canada - July 28, 2009, Calgary, Canada - Petroflow Energy announces that John Melton, Petroflow's CEO and founder, will retire from his positions as chief executive officer and director.

Mr. Melton founded TDC Energy LLC in 1986. As CEO, Mr. Melton and his team grew the business to a reserve value of more than 150 million dollars in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Melton stepped down as principal owner in 2000, after successfully selling his majority interest and remaining as Chairman. In July 2005, Mr. Melton initiated the renewal of Petroflow. He earned his Electrical Engineering degree from Louisiana State University in 1964 and his MS in 1968. He is also a graduate of the three year Harvard Business School OPM Management Program, 1
