San Francisco, Ca., USA - September 17, 2009, San Francisco, Ca., USA - PG&E Corporation announced the election of Lewis Chew and Rosendo G. Parra to its board of directors as well as the board of its subsidiary, Pacific Gas and Electric Company.

Mr. Chew has 25 years of experience and expertise in finance, accounting, and auditing. he joined National Semiconductor in 1997 as Director of Internal Audit and was named Vice President and Controller in 1998.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Chew was a partner and Certified Public Accountant with KPMG, LLP, in San Jose, California.
He joined KPMG in 1984 as a staff accountant and steadily assumed increasing responsibilities over the course of his career there, servicing clients in the high-tech and financial industries.
In December 2002, Treasury and Risk Management magazine named Mr. Chew as one of its top "40 Under the Age of 40" finance executives in the nation.
He has also been recognized on multiple occasions as one of America's Best CFOs by Institutional Investor magazine in its annual ranking of CFOs in America.
Mr. Chew is a graduate of Santa Clara University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Mr. Parra has more than 25 years of experience as a successful executive in the technology industry. Prior to the launch of Daylight Partners in 2007, he spent 14 years at Dell Inc.
His tenure at Dell included six years as Senior Vice President and Co-General Manager for Dell's Americas region.
Mr. Parra joined Dell in 1993 and rose through a number of senior management posts, including leading the company's Home and Small Business, Public Sector, and Corporate Sales units.
Prior to his career at Dell, Mr. Parra was a senior executive with GRiD Computer Systems Inc. in Mountain View, California.
Mr. Parra began his career with Tandy Corporation, where he held a number of sales and management roles for 12 years.
Mr. Parra currently serves on the Board of Directors of Brinker International, a Fortune 1000 casual dining company.
He also serves on the Board of Directors of NII Holdings, Inc., also a Fortune 1000 company and a leading provider of fully integrated mobile communication services designed for businesses and individual customers in selected Latin American markets. ■
