Primary Energy Recycling adds Former Dofasco CEO to the board

Oak Brook, Ill.,USA - April 6, 2010, Oak Brook, Ill.,USA - Primary Energy Recycling Corporation announced the appointment of Don Pether to the board of directors.

From 2003 to 2006, Mr. Pether served as President and CEO of steel manufacturer Dofasco prior to the company's acquisition by ArcelorMittal. He was appointed Chair of Dofasco in 2006, before retiring in 2007.

Mr. Pether joined Dofasco in 1970 and subsequently held various key roles including Plant Metallurgist, General Sales Manager, Vice President - Commercial, Executive Vice President Dofasco Inc. and General Manager Dofasco Hamilton, and President and Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Pether has held leadership roles with several steel industry-related associations, including past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Steel Producers Association, and past Vice-Chair of the American Iron and Steel Institute. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of packaging and metal processing company Samuel Manu-Tech Inc. and Emera Inc., an energy services, infrastructure and utility company with assets in United States, Canada and the Caribbean.
