Rackspace promotes Carla Pineyro Sublett to SVP and CMO

San Antonio, Tx., USA - May 27, 2016, San Antonio, Tx., USA - Rackspace, a cloud company, announced that it has promoted Carla Pineyro Sublett to senior vice president and chief marketing officer.

Ms. Pineyro Sublett brings more than 17 years of technology sales and marketing experience to Rackspace. In her previous role as CMO of Americas at Rackspace, she was responsible for driving demand generation through events, field and channel marketing, ecommerce, telesales and digital marketing.

Before coming to Rackspace, she held a variety of sales and marketing leadership positions at Dell. Most notably, she served as the executive director of marketing for Dell Latin America, where she managed all facets of marketing across multiple channels including digital, offline, retail, distribution and value added resellers.

Ms. Pineyro Sublett has received numerous professional honors throughout her career. She was recently named a 2016 Henry Crown Fellow.

The prestigious Henry Crown Fellowship Program, the flagship program within the Aspen Global Leadership Network, recognizes leaders under the age of 45 from across the country who have achieved success and are ready to apply their creative talents and skills to building a better society.

She was also named to Hot Topics' 2016 list of the 100 most influential B2B tech marketers in North America.
